OpsAway is the engineering services brand of LeanTechOps. We build, modernize and run software for teams that need more engineering than they can hire — with the accountability of a team that also ships its own products.
Who we are.
OpsAway exists because the same question kept coming up: teams had a clear idea of what to build and no realistic way to staff it. Hiring was slow, contractors were uneven, and the offshore option usually meant handing work to people you would never meet.
So we built the thing we would want to buy. US clients contract withLeanTechOps LLC d/b/a OpsAway, with a US point of contact. The engineering is done by the OpsAway team across Colombia, Peru, Nepal and India. One team, many time zones, one person accountable from kickoff to release.
We build our own software too
OpsAway is part ofLeanTechOps, which also builds and runs its own products. That matters more than it sounds: the people advising you on architecture, AI and release process are the same people living with those decisions on software they own. We are not recommending practices we have never had to maintain.
What we are not
We are not a staffing marketplace, and we do not sell headcount by the hour and call it delivery. Engagements are scoped around an outcome, with a named team and a lead who answers for it. If what you need is genuinely just bodies, there are cheaper places to get them.
How we operate

Own the outcome
We take responsibility for what ships, not for the hours behind it. If something is broken at release, it is ours to fix — there is no line in the contract where the problem becomes yours.
Build it to run
Anything we build, somebody has to operate. Tests, pipelines, observability and documentation are part of the work, not a phase that gets cut when the date moves.
Say it plainly
Clear estimates, early bad news, no jargon standing in for an answer. If something will not work, you hear it from us before you find out yourself.
